Welcome to the inaugural Teel blog post!
This section of our website is where we will post updates and information on technical subjects for the markets we serve. Doing this work supports two of our core values: learning and community.
We have a relentless drive for innovation and information at Teel. We want to continue to find new challenges and new opportunities. We like taking on challenges that others say can’t be done. This is how we embody learning as a core value. However, learning in a vacuum can only take you so far. We need to be willing to share the knowledge to advance our markets and customers’ understanding. Better educated markets and consumers are better for everyone. Education is something we seek to offer, even if our current or potential customers go to other suppliers.
Why do this as a service to our markets? It comes down to a second core value at Teel: community.
We want to be involved in the industries we serve, the markets in which we participate, and the communities where we do business. We want to leave each better than we found it. What better way to accomplish that than sharing technical knowledge, perspectives, and updates on those markets and industries.
What industries can you expect to see updates on? Our vertical markets.
Teel focuses on five key vertical markets: Medical, Cosmetics, Water Treatment, Industrial Piping, and Precision Cores. Because we can do anything, it is important for us to decide what things we won’t do. We decided years ago to limit our focus to markets that have long-term positive growth trends, a high degree of regulatory control, and challenging technical requirements. Once we made our decision, we built our business around being the best supplier we can be to customers in those spaces.
That doesn’t mean each market will get equal billing in this space, but we do want to update our customers on each of these areas.

One other note: the blog will be written by humans. Likely different humans, but humans all the same. If you are taking the time to read this, you deserve the personal touch of someone taking the time to write it.
