Plastic Tubing

Teel Plastics specializes in the custom manufacture of close-tolerance plastic tubing.

Teel Plastics began extruding plastic tubing in 1951. In 2007, Teel Plastics constructed a 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art extrusion facility in Baraboo, WI. The extrusion division (Industrial and Healthcare) has been extruding a wide variety of thermoplastic materials into plastic tubing for over 60 years.

One of Teel Plastics’ first products was the development and sale of plastic artificial insemination tubes to replace the glass insemination tubes that were used in the livestock industry. Over the years, Teel Plastics’ extrusion capabilities have grown to include coextrusion, which combines layers of different materials to create barrier properties that a single layer extrusion could not provide. Teel Plastics was one of the first extrusion companies to begin using coextrusion technology.

Teel Plastics has developed a wide range of plastic tubing capabilities and manufactures tubing products from 0.015” Outside Diameter (OD) to 9.0” OD. Teel Plastics also extrudes more than 90 different thermoplastic resins including Polyethylene, Polystyrene, Polypropylene, ABS, PVC and Nylon.
